Cheerleaders to Host Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Benefit April 29

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Jennifer Hill, Woman of the Year nominee for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, along with The Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders, will host the 4th Annual Cheers to Robin fundraising event that benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on Thursday, April 29 from 7:45 - 11:00 p.m. at Miro District (1922 Adelicia Street, Nashville, TN 37212).

General admission tickets are $50 and include a gift bag, complimentary drink, and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Tickets are being sold online at www.Jendhill.com.

Cheers to Robin will feature Classy Celebrity Trivia starting at 8:45 p.m. and continue until 9:45. Celebrities include Vanderbilt quarterback, MacKenzie Adams, and current Titans players such as Vincent Fuller, Chris Hope, Donnie Nickey, Sen'Derrick Marks, and Gerald McRath. Off the field celebrities include Woody and Jim, from 107.5 The River, and retired Nashville Predator, Dan Keczmer.

Woman of the Year nominee, Jennifer Hill, currently works as an Engineer at Nissan North America, but was a former Titans Cheerleader, Kats Dancer and Pro Bowl Representative.

"During my five years as a Titans Cheerleader I was blessed with opportunities to serve in various charity and community outreach programs," said Hill. "As I move from my role as a cheerleader for the Titans into a professional career, I began to understand that God has laid a path for me to further my community involvement, which is why I'm thrilled to be a nominee."

This is the fourth year the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders have hosted the Cheers to Robin Event. It is in honor of Robin Roach, a former Kats Cheerleader, who lost her battle to Leukemia. Robin cheered for the Kats for four years, and worked in the Kats front office in season and group ticket sales for four years.

"Robin was a role model for all women, not just cheerleaders," said Stacie Kinder, director of cheerleading for the Tennessee Titans. "She was the embodiment of beauty on the inside and out. She was kind, generous, and had a sense of grace in all that she did. We put on this event because it's important that people remember all that she was, as she continues to inspire us. The cheerleaders have worked really hard to put this event together and it's one of the few events where our fans will get a chance to meet the cheerleaders and experience what they are like off the field."

The atmosphere will be lively and include music played by DJ Mindub. Miro District will serve heavy hors d'oeuvres with a cash bar. There will be close to twenty silent auction items, including five microdermabrasion sessions, a Dior gift basket, an autographed Jordan TooToo Jersey, jewelry from Zales, and gift certificates from various restaurants.
