NASHVILLE, Tenn. — While the Titans traveled to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars on November 19th, four Titans Cheerleaders traveled to Ottawa, Ontario in support of NFL Canada's Thursday Night Football initiative.

Captains Julia, Heather, Anne and third-year veteran Evony spent three days in Canada's capital appearing for television and radio interviews, meeting Canadian NFL fans and garnering support for the Titans. The trip concluded with a Thursday Night Football watch party, sponsored by Bud Light, at a local restaurant in the ByWard Market district of the city.
"I was surprised by how passionate about the NFL the Canadian fans were! They knew the teams, had their favorites, and were every bit as zealous as our American fans," said Anne, a fifth-year Cheerleader. "We even found three die-hard Titans fans in Ottawa!"
The NFL's Canadian Office, in partnership with Bud Light and New Era, is completing an eight-city tour of the nation in an effort to increase the fan base and support of the NFL throughout the country. At each stop, a huge Thursday Night Football watch party is thrown, and a trip for two to Super Bowl 50 is given away to one lucky fan. The final stop is Thursday, December 17 in Quebec City for the Rams-Buccaneers game.
"During my four years as a Titans Cheerleader, I've had numerous opportunities to represent the Titans throughout Nashville, across the U.S., and even internationally," said Heather. "This trip to Ottawa was definitely one of my best Titans experiences yet. They rolled out the red carpet for us and created an excitement around Thursday Night Football that could rival any American party!"
