NASHVILLE, TN, April 3, 2007 — In the weeks leading up to high school prom night, many students are consumed by the arduous task of locating the perfect dress. After all, who can forget the majestic beauty of the young lady, dressed to impress, that we once took to prom?

Prom holds the promise of many treasured memories to last a lifetime. So, when the ladies of the Titans Cheerleading squad got wind of the Globally Touched Prom for a Princess Project, they mobilized to donate dresses and gowns to those students who might not be able to afford one this year.
Sponsored by the Mrs. Globe Pageant, whose proceeds benefit the Women In Need Foundation for Abused Women and Children, the donation drive collects dresses and redistributes them to local city chapter closets.
"We are proud to be a part of such a wonderful project that will help beautiful young women from every community," said Titans cheerleaders director Stacie Kinder.
The generosity of the Titans Cheerleading squad will assuredly make this year's prom a memorable event for many young ladies. As true role models, the squad has taken it upon themselves to play an active role in the community.
This was another opportunity to do just that, while helping to create lasting memories for those students who will now have the chance to go to prom in 2007.
