Give us your dance background.I started dancing at a very young age in my mother's living room. In her living room, she has wall mirrors that range from the ceiling to floor in length. I would pretend I was making my own videos; with singing, dancing, and choreography. However, I have been dancing with structure since the age of nine with a dance school in Chicago, shortly after my father died. I studied tap, ballet, and jazz. I also participated in two cotillions where we performed such dances as the Waltz, Tango, and the Rumba. After graduating from high school, I attended college at Fisk University with a dance scholarship and joined the University's performing dance company, Orchesis. We toured many states, as well as performed locally. I was even selected as the director's touring demonstrator during workshops. While in Nashville, in school and after, I have performed in local plays as well as traveled to teach choreography to different groups and high school dance teams.

What advice would advise young women aspiring to try out for TTC to look for during the tryout process? In this industry, appearance is key!! You want to definitely be in shape, come with a positive energetic attitude, humble spirit, pleasant smile, and patience. She must have the ability to accept constructive criticism and have some dance/cheer background. Also, do some research prior to coming- just to be sure this is something you can really do, as being a TTC is a lifestyle not a hobby!*
