My line (AFC 2) and NFC 1 left for the stadium at 10:30 a.m. We rotated appearing at various game day events and autograph signings. My group attended the teen flag football competition where we met lots of great fans. Once back in the locker room, we were off to the Dolphins pro shop for a little NFL shopping, and then back to the locker room and back to business.
At 5 p.m. it was another appearance right outside the entrance for all the tailgating fans, but this time we were to do what we do best -- perform two of our routines that we had worked so hard to prepare for. After a brief introduction, the music came on and the rest is history...I knew it was going to be a good night!
Back in the locker room, we moved our dinner table and had one final practice of the whole night's scheduled performances, and we were ready. We completed the finishing touches to our hair and makeup, lined up, and took the field.
The night ended in a victory for the AFC, but for the cheerleaders, we were all winners. The fans loved us and we loved the fans, I was wrong, it wasn't a good night, it was GREAT!! The experience of a life time, Pro Bowl 2010 is now in the books.
Now, off to celebrate and toast to the completion of Pro Bowl 2010! I also have to prepare to return to snow covered Nashville. I hope you've enjoyed postcards from Miami and Pro bowl 2010!
