Kenny Britt will sign autographs at the new Kroger Marketplace in Gallatin Saturday at noon. |
Britt, the team's first-round pick (30th overall) out of Rutgers in the 2009 NFL Draft, led the Titans with 701 receiving yards and finished fourth on the squad with 42 receptions his rookie season. He led or tied for the team lead in receptions four times in 2009 and made his first start at wide receiver Nov. 15 vs. Buffalo.
The highlight of Britt's rookie season came Nov. 29 at home vs. the defending NFC Champion Arizona Cardinals. He started at wide receiver and tied a career-best with seven receptions for a career-high 128 yards, including the game-winning score in Tennessee's 20-17 come-from-behind victory.
Britt Kept the Titans' game-winning touchdown drive alive with a 10-yard catch on fourth-and-four in the final drive, and later made a leaping, 10-yard touchdown catch in the back of the end zone on fourth-and-goal with no time remaining on the clock.
