Brian Orakpo has already made a name for himself in the NFL.

He's been to three Pro Bowls in his first six NFL seasons, and has 40 career sacks.

But all those accomplishments came with the Redskins.

Now, he's ready to make his mark with the Titans.

Orakpo had to show some patience in his first 4 ½ months on the job with the team. A torn pectoral muscle he suffered during the 2014 season resulted in him being held back in offseason workouts with the Titans

At the start of training camp, he's ready to prove to his new teammates what he's all about.

"You hear about guys and what they have done and you watch it on film,'' Orakpo said. "I am kind of anxious because I wasn't able to showcase my talents early in the process and in OTAs and stuff so now I get a chance. My teammates who really don't know me, they get a chance to see what I am all about, so I am excited about that."

Orakpo said he's 100 percent after being limited in OTAs.

A year ago he had just a half sack in seven games before being injured. In 2013, he had 10 sacks in 15 games. He had a career-high 11 sacks in his rookie season with the Redskins in 2009.

"I feel 100 percent, and I am ready to rock and roll,'' Orakpo said. "Precautionary reasons is why we did that (this offseason), just to give us more time coming off of that injury. Body-wise, I feel great, the pec. I am excited to be back.

"I worked really hard this offseason to this point and I can't wait to get better with a new team, everything about it. It is fresh. I am ready to start a new chapter."
