SEASIDE, Fla. -- The annual Cheerleaders' swimsuit calendar shoot trip is going great! We met at Baptist Sports Park at 8 a.m. on Thursday and after a bus ride that included games, Titans trivia, and a fun ettiquette lesson, we arrived in Seaside, Florida.
The team dispersed to our different cottages that would be our homes over the next four and a half days! We had an excellent dinner at Bud and Alley's at sunset and went to bed early.
The second day started at 4 a.m. with hair and makeup and a sunrise beach shoot for Tanzye, Stephanie A., Ashley, and Amber. The weather was perfect. Our breakfast was at the Inn by the Sea, a gorgeous Inn, decorated by the Vera Bradley founders. Bud and Alley's Pizzeria sponsored a fabulous lunch of fresh, thin crust pizza, and then it was off to a fun sunset shoot!
Amber, Janae, and Tanzye shot some amazing Americana style photos and then Brooke, Chocez, and Stef continued the shoot on the beach. The sunset shoot drew over 100 on-lookers and cameras were snapping everywhere! Our Titans security, Jerry, was very busy with crowd control.
We had a fun night with a team building party, complete with a scavenger hunt and skits. The rookies discovered which veteran would be their big sisters for the year, and we worked on planning a successful season.
I can't believe it's only been two days – it feels like a lifetime already! Can't wait for tomorrow!
