NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A person familiar with the situation says the meeting between Tennessee general manager Mike Reinfeldt and Chris Johnson and the running back's agent has ended.
No deal was announced and there was no update on Johnson' contract holdout, but the person told The Associated Press that the meeting ended midday Wednesday. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the team had not announced any details of the meeting.
Neither Johnson nor his agent, Joel Segal, or Reinfeldt immediately responded to messages from the AP.
The Titans say they will make the three-time Pro Bowler the highest paid running back in the NFL. Johnson leads the NFL in yards rushing over the past three seasons and as said he wants at least $30 million in guaranteed money.
