NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The first round of current and former players have been confirmed for former Titans safety Chris Hope's "A Night with Chris Hope & Friends" to be held on Monday, Dec. 9 (6-9 p.m.) at Mafiaoza's Pizzeria and Neighborhood Pub in Nashville.
Fans can join Hope, an 11-year veteran safety, for an evening of fun, food and festivities, while raising money for two great causes -- InterFace and the Community Foundation's Godfather Fund.Â
Players confirmed so far include Eddie George, Chris Johnson, Nate Washington, Jason McCourty, Alterraun Verner, Derrick Mason, Jurrell Casey, Craig Hentrich, Bernard Pollard, Michael Griffin, Vincent Fuller, Chris Sanders, Brett Kern and Blaine Bishop. Additional players will be added in the coming days.
The players in attendance will "tackle" the task of cooking and serving pizzas to guests, pose for photographs, sign autographs and generally yuck it up, while fans bid on some unique and priceless silent auction pieces, including authentic autographed Titans helmets, cleats, footballs, jerseys, original art, concert tickets, memorabilia signed by country music celebrities and more!
In its fifth year, Hope created this "fan-friendly" charity event for all ages to gather friends, including current and former NFL players and other local celebrities that fans have grown to know and love.
Tickets are $75 per person and $25 for children 14 and under. Admission includes dinner and non-alcoholic beverages and can only be purchased at www.hope5.eventbrite.com or at the restaurant.
