NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans kick off training camp on Friday morning at Saint Thomas Sports Park.
Here's a look at five players to watch, and why:
**
Quarterback Marcus Mariota**
Reporters got a chance to watch the draft's second overall pick during offseason workouts. Now, fans get to see last year's Heisman Trophy winner up close and personal. Will Mariota make a good first impression on the fan base? We're about to find out.
Receiver Dorial Green-Beckham
The Titans picked Green-Beckham with their second round pick, and he definitely looks the part. He's 6-5, 237 pounds, and looks like a tight end. Green-Beckham was limited during the offseason because of a hamstring injury. Chances are, he's going to make some plays early to get fans excited.
Linebacker Brian Orakpo
The three-time Pro Bowler has been champing at the bit to be turned loose by the Titans after being held back this offseason while recovering from a pec injury. Orakpo's presence should make those around him on defense better. He's sure to bring energy and confidence to the defense.
**
Tackle Taylor Lewan**
The nasty offensive lineman from Michigan made his nasty intentions known on Thursday. He wants the offensive linemen to play with more of an attitude this fall, and what better way to set a tone than by playing with an edge and setting the tone on the first day of camp? Will it lead to fireworks?
Running back David Cobb
Running backs Bishop Sankey and Antonio Andrews got most the work during the offseason as Cobb was slowed with a hamstring injury. Cobb has some catching up to do, and he'll likely turn the most heads when the pads come on. Still, he's worth keeping an eye on from the get-go.
