NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- As part of the Titans celebrating their 15th anniversary season, more than 60 alumni from the past 14 years of Titans Cheerleading performed during a special halftime show, "15 Years of Cheers," at the team's regular-season opener last month vs. San Diego.
Included in the group were 10 members from the inaugural 1999 season, eight Pro Bowl cheerleaders and 10 second generation children -- the future of Titans Cheerleading -- dancing with their parents.
Shauna, a member of the squad from 2006-09, traveled the farthest, flying in from Los Angeles to be with many of her former teammates. Lindsay, S., a 2009 Pro Bowl cheerleader, danced after giving birth to her second child just three weeks prior. And Molly (2011-12 seasons) participated while nine months pregnant, only two weeks away from her due date.
Director of Cheerleading Stacie Kinder conducted three practices for the alumni, including the final one the night before that lasted until 10:30 p.m.
"I am so proud of our alumni that came out in great support of our 15-year anniversary," Kinder said. "They did an outstanding job and it was an amazing celebration for our fans."
The show concluded by honoring 40 members of the Titans Founders Club, which includes original season ticket holders from 1999.
