Making an Impact: Taste of the Titans Benefitting Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee

As part of the NFL's Salute to Service Month, the Titans hosted the Tito's Military Bowl on November 12th, 2024. The Titans welcomed over a hundred soldiers from Fort Campbell to compete in a flag football tournament for the championship trophy. The event was held at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park in the Titans indoor practice facility.

Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons visited Nashville Rescue Mission to interact and help serve lunch to over 200 men.

Titans defensive lineman Isaiah Iton visited Mr. Deans' kindergarten class at Park Avenue Elementary School for fun activities and to practice dance moves with the students.

Titans players, T-Rac, and Titans cheerleaders visited the Nashville Ronald McDonald House to serve Whataburger lunch and for some fun Halloween themed arts and crafts with the kids and their families.

In honor of crucial catch month, Titans staff spent the morning packaging 200 National Breast Cancer Foundation HOPE Kits, delivering encouragement and support to patients undergoing breast cancer treatment.

Titans linebacker Arden Key visited Ms. Majors Douglas's 3^rd grade class at Ida B. Wells Elementary for an exciting morning of activities and a game of "Arden says".

Titans players and cheerleaders visited Centennial High School for an EVERFI Character Playbook event, where they discussed the importance of mental wellness and shared their own personal journeys with the student-athletes.

Titans staff teamed up with the Nashville Predators, Nashville Sounds, and Nashville Soccer Club for a food packaging event at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. Altogether, volunteers sorted and packaged food for over 8,000 people in the Nashville community.

Titans linebacker Luke Gifford and defensive lineman Isaiah Iton joined Ms. Reser's 2^nd grade class at Nannie Berry Elementary for Take A Titan To School. They participated in a science experiment and even showed off some of their dance moves with the students

The Titans visited the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Nashville, Tennessee. Titans players and mascot T-Rac joined to interact and serve Hattie B's lunch to the patients and their caregivers.

The Titans welcomed kids from Metro Parks and Recreation to the facility for an NFL Flag Clinic. The 2024 Titans Rookie Class joined to help run drills and cheer on the young athletes in attendance.

In partnership with United Way of Greater Nashville, the Titans held the annual Stuff the Bus back to school event at Nissan Stadium. Altogether, Titans staff, United Way, and community volunteers joined to package 15,460 total backpacks filled with school supplies for students in Metro Nashville Public Schools.

The Tennessee Titans hosted the Diversity Coaching Summit presented by Gatorade at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park. Coaches representing over 20 high schools across the state of Tennessee were invited to the facility to spend the day learning from Titans coaching and support staff.

The Tennessee Titans kicked off the first Youth Football Camp of the summer at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee. Participants learned proper football fundamentals, skills, and position techniques, as well as teamwork skills and the value of good character. Instruction was led by Tennessee high school football coaches, with additional support from Titans RB Tyjae Spears, DB Mike Brown, and Coach Lori Locust.

The Tennessee Titans worked with Hands on Nashville for a Titans Together presented by Gallagher project at Piccolo Farms Animal Sanctuary in Whites Creek, TN. Over 25 staff members spent the morning helping Piccolo Farms recover from the recent flooding.

The Titans teamed up with Hands On Nashville for a Titans Together presented by Gallagher packaging event at Father Ryan High School in Nashville, Tennessee. Altogether, 25 students packaged 1,200 snack packs to be distributed to the Metro Nashville Public Schools Community Achieves program.

The Tennessee Titans, along with the Tennessee Football Coaches Association hosted its 8^th Annual High School Recruiting Fair at Nissan Stadium. This year's event welcomed 127 Tennessee high schools and 45 colleges and universities across 22 states.

The Titans partnered up with EVERFI and the Nashville Predators to host a field day for 150 students at Goodlettsville Middle School to support the curriculum-aligned digital courses that are co-created by EVERFI and the professional sports leagues. Students rotated through stations that introduced them to skills in football and hockey, while also exploring the concepts behind the EVERFI curriculum.

TSSA makes Tennessee the 10th state to officially sanction Girls Flag Football as a high school varsity sport via and unanimous decision.

Titans staff partnered up with Hands on Nashville and the Nashville Tree Foundation to host a 'Titans Together' presented by Gallagher volunteer project at Hadley Park. Volunteers participated in a variety of tree maintenance and cleanup projects around the park for members of the Nashville community to enjoy.

The Titans hosted the Special Olympics Music City Blitz at Nissan Stadium. The flag tournament kicked off with Special Olympics athletes taking the field alongside Titans Head Coach Brian Callahan and the Titans coaching staff.

The Tennessee Titans teamed up with Hands on Nashville and Friends of Shelby Park to host a 'Titans Together' presented by Gallagher service project at Shelby Park. Together, over 200 volunteers joined to perform various landscaping and restoration projects around the park.

The Tennessee Titans partnered with American Red Cross to host a Blood Drive at Nissan Stadium. Altogether, 81 units of blood were collected, and 243 potential lives were saved.

Honored at the Titans vs Jaguars game as the Wesley Mortgage Community Hero, Susan McCormack is a true river steward. A kayaking hobbyist, she has cleared over 3,000 lbs of metal debris and over 4,000 lbs of trash debris from the waterways around the Stones River Greenway.

Honored at the Titans vs Seahawks game as the Wesley Mortgage Community Hero, Kristin Mejia runs a non-profit organization, Homeland Heart Birth and Wellness Collective, a program that allows her and her team to improve Black maternal and infant mortality statistics in the Nashville area. Considering the social determinants of health that are affecting the Black birthing community, she and provides services that are necessary to improve the health of families during this crucial time. She trains and deploys doulas to women regardless of their financial standing, and advocates for these women and their partners.
