Biography
Brenden Jaimes (6-5, 300) has played in 45 games over his four-year NFL career (2021-24). Originally a fifth-round selection by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2021, he played in a career-high 14 games in 2023 and finished the season making three consecutive starts at center. Jaimes (pronounced HIGH-miss) has also seen time at left guard and appeared in two postseason contests.
In four seasons at the University of Nebraska (2017-20), Jaimes totaled 40 starts while playing right and left tackle. He started 21 games on the right side before making the transition to left tackle prior to his junior year. The team's offensive MVP as a junior in 2019, Jaimes finished with the school record for consecutive starts by an offensive lineman (40) and was named honorable mention All-Big Ten three times (2018-20).
