Biography
Wes Slay is in his 11th season with the Titans in 2024. He joined the club as a seasonal scouting assistant in January of 2014 before being promoted to his full-time position in June of 2014.
Slay is currently responsible for scouting the southwest region of the country. In 2016, he served as the Midwest area scout. Previously, Slay spent two season as a pro scout where he was responsible for producing advance scouting reports for upcoming opponents, evaluating free agents across the NFL, Canadian Football League and Arena League, setting up free agent workouts and monitoring daily waiver wire transactions.
A native of Roanoke, Ala., Slay attended Southern Union State Community College before transferring to the University of Alabama, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science with concentrations in Business, Coaching and Fitness in December of 2013.
Slay worked in the recruiting department as a recruiting specialists from 2011-13, during which time the Crimson Tide won two national championships and an SEC championship. His day-to-day duties included cutting film, evaluating prospects, database management, organizing summer prospect camps and official and unofficial visits.
Wes resides in Nolensville, Tenn. with his wife, Victoria, and son, Lawrence.
