Just waiting for my name to be called, staying ready, so when the ball went up and I just went and made a play. God was with me and the whole team rallied around me and I was able to make the play.
Was that (the pass) for you or Bryce (Oliver)?
It may have been for Bryce, but who knows. I think it was for Bryce. but like I said, I just seen the ball up and I went and made a play in my vicinity. Me and Bryce cracked a smile about it at the end of the play and he said, I think you ran the wrong route, but hell yeah.
Did you have to like call it like a center fielder or something like that, you guys ending up in the same spot. How does it work to figure out who's going to catch it?
Honestly, whoever was the closest in my opinion. I mean, whoever was able to make a play at that particular moment. We all needed it. So, it happened at the perfect time.
