Yeah, that's complementary football right there today. Defense gets a turnover, we take advantage of it and go score. Like, like I said out there, I mean, O-line did their job protecting him to give him time to go through his progression, and I was just trying to be in the right place at the right time for a great play call by Cally (Brian Callahan).
Was the bad swing an ode to like Aaron Judge that since you look so much like him?
No, Tyke (Tolbert), in our little red zone meeting, he put a little highlight tape together. Ode to Freddie Freeman because he had four-for-four. So, you know, four straight games with a home run and four straight games with a touchdown now.
It seems like that you know what's your side all year for this offense is mistakes that have kind of hindered you and you guys can't come out of that. How much today were you guys able to fight through that and build some confidence with coming out on the other side?
Yeah, I feel like we still had some of those we had to fight through, like you said. I feel like that was kind of like that last week. Early on, I remember saying that to guys like, regardless of what happens, even if we do have a holding penalty or some bad plays, like we got to be able to fight through that. So, I feel like we kind of started that last week, but we were able to capitalize on a more this week and be more consistent with it.
What does it mean to be such a reliable piece for this team in the way it's happened this season?
I mean, it means a lot. I feel like coaches have put me in position and trusted me to go out there and be a starter on the team. Coming in, probably wasn't expecting that, knowing the roster that we had. And so really, I just go to work and try to do my best to help this team win. I feel blessed to have this opportunity. I take advantage of it. I feel like this is kind of how the good Lord made me. Just go to work and see what happens after that.
