How costly were those two turnovers today?
Yeah, they've been actually making us lose the games. That's last where we got a punt blocked, we had some turnovers, and you can't win like that obviously. We're still in the games but we're making it harder on ourselves. We got to figure out how to stop turning the ball over and play a complete game.
Did it feel like a case of kind of déjà vu overall for the game in general?
No, not déjà vu because it's early in the season and this is the NFL. But we just got to—for me personally, I think we're a good team. We got to eliminate the (crap), figure it out and play as one and we'll be all right.
(Brian) Callahan mentioned he liked your connection with (Will) Levis today. What did you see? What were you feeling out there?
It could have been better, a lot better. We're the ones that are going to help this team score points, move the ball. So, we got to be better. We have—no matter what, we just got to be better. We're going to be the ones that are going to put the points on the board. We've got to win the games.
Can you walk us through that touchdown catch Calvin (Ridley)?
I just made a catch man; I just made a catch.
It was so low, it looked like you caught it almost on your leg.
I dropped one, that's what I did.
A good way to bounce back?
It's all right. I got to catch that first one for him. Then we've got the flow of the game. Maybe the defense feels that, maybe the other teammate feel that. So, I got to keep that drive alive, keep the energy going in the stadium and make that play.
Calvin (Ridley), do you feel like progress was made today, and if so, does that make it even more difficult to walk out of here with another close loss?
I mean, we lost, man. I don't want to lose. I want to win the game, go home and chill, and be happy. But we got to go back to work, figure it out. I think we're getting close though. I'm upset, but I think we're getting close.
Turnovers obviously hurt you guys today, what do you guys have to do?
Hold on to the ball, block (for) the punt, don't turn the ball over. The ball is everything.
