Can you tell me a little bit about that long catch? You looked a little disappointed that you didn't get in the end zone.
I was waiting for that moment all camp and I'm so happy I got it. Definitely want to finish it next time though. It feels good though to get it.
You got a lot of touches this preseason. How do you think you feel about making the 53-man roster and what would it mean to you to make the team?
It would mean a lot to me, that's a lot of hard work. Obviously my situation here was tough, but I overcame all that. It's going to be tough for them to do what they do, so we'll see what they do.
Are you worried about these next couple days or not really anymore after kind of the mentality you've taken on?
I'm not nervous at all. Wherever I end up or if it's here, I'm going to put my best foot forward each day. I surely don't want to have happen what happened last year, where I'm sitting around the whole time. I know I played well, and I put good tape out there so I'm not nervous at all. I'm excited for the future. I'm excited for this season because I know it's going to be big.
Did you think you were going to get into the end zone on one of those? It looked like you were going to score on one of those.
Oh yeah, I should have dove. Those are two moments I obviously want back, but I'm going to get in there. I'm going to get in there.
Are you happy overall with just how the preseason has gone for you?
Absolutely. I came in here with a fierce mindset and I knew I was going to dominate. I didn't let anything discourage me at all, and I came here and dominated every day and showed up in practice every day. I showed up every day and I worked. There's a couple of guys that did that, and that's what I did every day. I knew God's plan for me was great, so I'm happy with what happened.
How much motivation did you have given everything that happened before training camp?_
I think sometimes being at the bottom motivates me. I've always been overlooked my whole life, so it's something where I feel more comfortable when I'm being overlooked and being at the bottom, so I'm thankful for that. I showed up every day and made sure I proved them wrong, so it's going to be a tough decision.
