With All of the Adversity, We Still Had Chances to Win

Sunday's loss was a tough game against a quality team.

I was definitely disappointed in the way we finished the game, mostly because we left some plays out there on the field. But I give Tampa Bay a lot of credit. They made a few more plays than we did and got the win. This was a tough game for us considering we had to battle through a lot adversity with some of the injuries we sustained. The injuries made it a little tough on us, but I think the guys that filled in really played. That's one of the positives we can take away from this game.  

Jeff Garcia gave us some trouble on Sunday with his scrambling ability. When you have a guy that can make plays with his legs and extend the play a little longer, it gives his guys more opportunities to get open. I have to give him credit because he made plays and got his team in field goal range to win the game. It's dissapointing, but it's something we have to get over with and move on. I am confident that we will take it upon ourselves to make sure we get those types of things fixed this coming week. All in all we have to play more consistent throughout the game. We started out a little flat here and there, but we played fairly decent for most of the game and that's something that I am proud of.
 
In the NFL, every opponent is tough and we play in what I think is the most improved division in the NFL in the AFC South. It's a physical division and we will have our hands full with a much improved Houston Texans squad this weekend.
