Coach did a great job of getting us prepared. I'm glad we got the win. We're playing with confidence. We're playing with speed. Everyone has a great understanding of what the coaches want us to do. Right now, no one wants to be the weak link. Everyone wants to be accountable and wants to be productive and make the big plays.
Right now, our defensive line is making it easy for everyone on the back end. It was a tremendous effort by our defensive line, not only this week but every week. They have been consistent the whole season for us. I hope they can just continue to play as well as they have been. David Carr is a quarterback that our defensive line has had great success against, flushing him out of the pocket and creating pressure and making him throw some errant passes. We just got a chance to get a lot of sacks on the day. It was a great effort.
We have the potential and the capabilities to be a playoff caliber team. Are we there yet? Not by any means. We have to continue to remain focused and focus in on each opponent each and every week. We have to be consistent. Right now, this is just the midway point of the season, so there is a lot of football left. If we go out and play poorly for the rest of the season, then no one will remember the great start we have had so far.
We want to continue the momentum that we have going right now. We want to continue to play well at home in front of our home fans and hopefully we can do that next week against Jacksonville. A division game is always big. They want to get back at us since we went into their place and we won. So, it'll be an exciting contest.
