NASHVILLE, Tenn. –** Titans running back DeMarco Murray suffered a knee injury in the closing minutes of the team's loss against the Los Angeles Rams.

Murray was helped off the field by trainers.

"We're going to get an MRI on him and see the extent of it," Titans coach Mike Mularkey said. "Didn't look good. He's a pretty tough guy, watched him walk off, and it didn't look good."

Murray ran for 48 yards on 15 carries against the Rams before suffering the injury. On the season, Murray has 659 yards and six touchdowns on 184 carries. He's fourth on the team in receptions this season with 39 catches (for 266 yards and a touchdown).

Running back Derrick Henry had 25 yards on eight carries on Sunday. On the season, Henry has 693 yards and five touchdowns on 148 carries. He's caught 10 passes for 70 yards on the season.

Mularkey was asked what it would mean for Henry if Murray's injury keeps him from being able to play.

"He'll, obviously, he'll get a bigger load," Mularkey said. "It's good for him, I'm glad we have him. That's what he's here for, and (David) Fluellen as well. And again, that's me speaking right after the game. I've seen him before come back pretty strong. He's about as tough a player we got."
