NASHVILLE – The Titans have made some roster moves leading up to Monday's game vs the Dolphins.
On Friday, the Titans:
-Promoted linebacker Luke Gifford from the practice squad to the team's 53-man roster. Gifford has played on special teams in the first three games this season after being made a gameday elevation for each contest.
-Placed cornerback Chidobe Awuzie on Injured Reserve. Awuzie suffered a groin injury in Sunday's contest against the Packers, and coach Brian Callahan indicated earlier in the week it's an injury that could sideline him for several weeks.
-Signed defensive lineman McTelvin Agim to the team's practice squad. Agim, a third-round pick (95th overall) of the Broncos in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Arkansas, spent his first two seasons in Denver, and played in 17 games over those two seasons. He's since spent time with the Colts and Texans, spending time on the active roster and practice squads. Agim played in one game for the Colts in 2023.
His career stats include 14 tackles, one tackle for loss, 1.5 sacks, four quarterback hurries and two passes defensed.
Agim (6-3, 300) appeared in 49 games (40 starts) at Arkansas (2016-19) and recorded 148 tackles (62 solo), 31.5 tackles for loss, 14.5 sacks, four passes defensed, six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
