HEAD COACH JEFF FISHER
**
(on the first half)*
We got some production out of the offense, and we moved the ball. We moved the chains and converted some third downs, and we got the run game going a little bit against a good defensive front. Defensively, we gave up a long drive, but it was good that we held them to three points. I thought on special teams, our coverage guys stepped up and limited a very good returner. All in all, it was pretty good in the first half. We'll start subbing now, go out, play hard and try to win this game.
QB KERRY COLLINS
(on the offensive effort in the first half)
It was definitely a lot better out there tonight. We did a good job with our execution, and I thought it was our best rhythm of the preseason so far. We should have come away with more points, and we have to correct those things. But I feel like that was our best performance on offense this preseason.
(on his touchdown pass to Justin Gage)
It was press coverage outside, and I just tried to put it out there so he could make a play. He did a good job getting around and making a good catch. Justin and I have developed a good rapport, and I'm comfortable going to him. He did a good job tonight, and besides him, I think Jared Cook and Kenny Britt made some plays as well. There were several guys that stepped it up tonight.
LB KEITH BULLUCK
(on how the defense performed in the first half)
I think we did a good job out there tonight. We were able to get some stops when we needed them, especially in the red zone. We also did a good job against some of their stuff that we practiced this week. Overall, I think we played well and took a step in the right direction.
(on where the defense is with one preseason game remaining)
I think we're a good preseason game away from being where we need to be heading into Pittsburgh.
