I'm especially pleased with the defense. We made some plays, and we haven't given up a touchdown in however many quarters the starters have played this preseason. I thought we tackled really well. Offensively, we got a lot of pressure and a lot of heat, which we didn't prepare for. Coming in on a short week like we did, we couldn't practice that much. Brett punted the ball really well, and our coverage guys did a nice job. We just have to continue to play.
QB VINCE YOUNG

We can definitely learn from tonight. In a way, we needed that as an offense. They ran some press on us, and we couldn't get off the ball. There are some things like that we can all learn from and take into next week. But our defense did a good job of helping us out and played real well out there.
LB STEPHEN TULLOCH
(on the starting defense's performance)
Every game we just try to build on the last performance. We take pride in not allowing any people in the end zone, and we were able to accomplish that in the first half tonight. We still have things we need to improve on, but I thought we played well.
(on recovering a fumble deep in Titans territory)
As a defense, we always want to create turnovers, especially in the red zone. We were able to cause a fumble, and I saw it on the ground and pounced on it. It was big to get that before the end of the first half, and hopefully it was a momentum changer for the team heading into the locker room.
DT JASON JONES
(on the starting defense's performance)
It was very encouraging to keep them off the scoreboard in the first half. We kept on working and working, and we were able to create that turnover in the red zone before the half.
(on the defense creating pressure in the first half)
I thought we did a good job creating some pressure. They were running some quick game stuff and max-protecting some, so we didn't get the sacks we wanted. But we were able to get in his face and create some bad throws. Still, I'm sure there are things we can work on, and we'll look at the tape and get those fixed.
