NASHVILLE – The Titans have agreed to terms with former Jaguars defensive lineman Arden Key.
A third-round pick of the Raiders in the 2018 NFL Draft, Arden's career has blossomed in recent years while with the 49ers and more recently, the Jaguars.
The 6-foot-5, 240-pounder tallied 4.5 sacks, 15 quarterback hits and 27 tackles last season in Jacksonville, when he played in 17 games, starting three of the final four during the team's run to the postseason.
Key, 27, posted career highs in sacks (6.5) and quarterback hits (17) with the 49ers in 2021, when Titans general manager Ran Carthon served as director of player personnel in San Francisco.
In five NFL seasons, Key has played in 71 games, with 13 starts. He's tallied 14 sacks, 61 tackles and 58 quarterback hits.
Key's addition comes after the team released outside linebacker Bud Dupree.
