Titans add LB Zach Diles, FB Collin Mooney

NASHVILLE, Tenn. --The Titans signed veteran LB Zac Diles and rookie RB Collin Mooney.

Diles is a five-year NFL veteran, who split last season between Tampa Bay and Indianapolis and played a total of 11 games. He spent the first four years of his career with the Houston Texans, where he played 50 games, including 30 starts divided between weak and strong-side linebacker. During his career, he has registered 61 games played, 154 tackles, one sack, one interception and three forced fumbles. His best season came in 2009, when he played in 16 games with 12 starts and totaled 45 tackles and two forced fumble.

Mooney will be entering his rookie season, despite finishing his college eligibility after the 2008 football season. As a senior fullback at Army, Mooney established a new season-high mark for rushing yards in a season (1,339 yards) at the storied program. After graduation from West Point in 2009, he spent the last three years fulfilling his service commitment and will now submit his application to the Army for an early release. Historically those requests have been granted for those who have served a certain portion of their service.

To make room for the roster additions, the club released FB Will Ta'ufo'ou and LB Lawrence Wilson.
