NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with FB Quinn Johnson and TE Visanthe Shiancoe, placed FB Collin Mooney on injured reserve (knee) and waived both LB Zac Diles and S Shann Schillinger.
Johnson (6-foot-1, 255 pounds) rejoins the Titans after the team placed him on injured reserve on September 7 and he was later terminated with an injury settlement. In 2012, he played in all 16 games for the Titans. He has four years of NFL experience split between the Titans, Denver Broncos and Green Bay Packers. Originally a fifth-round selection by the Packers in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL Draft, Johnson played his college football at LSU.
Shiancoe (6-4, 250, vi-sahn-TAY SHANK-oh) has 10 years of NFL experience while playing for the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots. He has played in 148 games, including 90 starts, during his NFL career and registered 243 receptions, 27 touchdowns and 2,677 yards. Last season he played in four games for the New England Patriots. Shiancoe was originally drafted by the New York Giants in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft from Maryland. He played four seasons for the Giants and five for the Vikings.
Safety Michael Griffin also rejoins the roster after last week's NFL suspension.
