NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans added CB D'Joun Smith to their practice squad.
Smith (5-11, 193) was a third-round pick (65th overall) by the Indianapolis Colts in 2015. He played in four games as a rookie for the Colts, but missed the majority of the season with a knee injury. He was waived (injured) at the end of training camp this year by the Colts and was signed to the Detroit Lions practice squad in September after recovering from injury. Smith was let go by the Lions two weeks ago.
Smith was a four-year starter at Florida Atlantic, playing 44 games and totaling 120 tackles, nine interceptions, 29 passes defensed, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 47 kickoff returns (23.3 yard average). He earned team MVP honors in 2013 and team Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2014. As a junior, Smith posted seven interceptions.
