CHICAGO – Pending a physical, the Titans have agreed to terms with the Green Bay Packers on a trade that will send linebacker Reggie Gilbert to Nashville.
The Titans will send a conditional 2020 draft pick to Green Bay in exchange for Gilbert, who must pass a physical to make the trade official.
In 2018, Gilbert (6-3, 261) played in all 16 games for the first time in his career and recorded 44 tackles (36 solo), six tackles for a loss, 2½ sacks, a fumble recovery, four quarterback hits, 15 QB pressures (No. 2 on the team) and two passes defensed while adding two tackles on special teams.
In 2017, Gilbert played in two games and registered three tackles (two solo), a sack, five QB pressures and three QB hits. Gilbert was an undrafted free agent of the Packers in 2016.
Gilbert played collegiately at Arizona, where he started 47 of 57 games and registered 143 tackles (89 solo), 27 tackles for a loss, 14 sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
In 2015, Gilbert sacked then-Oregon and current Titans QB Marcus Mariota in Arizona's 31-24 upset win at No. 2 Oregon.
