I am sure this is not the Titans this debut you wanted. What is this week been like, getting signed by the team and then starting today day against the Colts?
The activation was always a blessing. Have been working nonstop with all of the guys. Not a good day right now, definitely don't like to lose.
When did you find out you're going to be starting today?
Early in the week. I don't remember the exact day. Early in the week.
How tough is it to come out here and play your butts off, what you did for four quarters and come up short today?
It just hurts because we know how good of a team we are as a whole. We know how much how hard we work and how much we know we can really shock this league because we can do a lot of things. So, it hurts a lot to not get it done. We've been in a lot of close games and it hurts not to get it done.
Those last couple drives, did any do Indy do anything defensively that you guys weren't expecting?
No, they did a phenomenal job. Their front is exactly where we thought it was. They're a great group, a lot of energy and a lot of pressure, but we just didn't execute on offense, didn't make the plays.
1-4, obviously, you've got a couple of tough road games coming up, how do you from a guys mental standpoint, kind of circle the wagons and stay focused?
Same thing we've been doing all year. We know who we are. We know how hard we (expletive) work and go back to work tomorrow. Correct the (stuff). Wipe it away, get ready.
How do you think you fit in throughout the week and leading up to this game over there at right tackle?
Just working my ass off, just trying to be whoever I can to help the team win in any aspect, whether that's a big increasing the production at right tackle, guard, left tackle, wherever I'm at. Just here to work.
It was kind of a run heavy game today, or at least the rushing attack did pretty well. What do you think was working there?
The run game, we got going early. Then at the end, we just didn't make enough plays.
