Did you know at all points, that you had that one interception?
Oh, I knew I caught the ball, 100 percent. But with the interception, like I said before, Azeez (Al-Shaair) is just a baller. He tried to knock the ball up in the air, and I just had the opportunity to go out there and make it. I've got to definitely say thank you to Azeez on that.
You kind of alluded to it, that you guys, 'had nothing to play for' today. Jacksonville had everything to play for. You guys were just flying around making plays all day. It seemed like losing this game was not an option today. What does that say about the character of this team?
It says a lot. Mostly, that guys truly care about the person that's beside them in the locker room. Guys care about the coaches, and we know that you can't win every game. Nobody wins every game. But at the same time, we've just got to go out there, play together, play smart, and this our last go around that we're going to be together. So let's all go out there, play as hard as we can and end with a good taste in our mouths.
Any extra joy in denying Jacksonville from winning this division on your home field?
That was enjoyable just because they are a divisional opponent. You've got to be the Grinch sometimes. And I guess you could say we were the Grinch today.
