SAFETY MIKE BROWN
How did you think that you hit Jordan Addison? Take us through a technique like that.
I mean, it's like it happened so quick. Like, you just try to think to not to go for the head. Like, it's hard to aim perfectly when you're playing football. Everything is about split-second decisions. The referee called what he called. You know I didn't agree with it. I mean, it happened though.
So you feel like you led with your shoulder, though, and not your head?
Yeah, for sure.
When you guys are making such a big stand like that, and that's a fourth down play, and now they have a new, fresh set of downs, that is a huge play.
That can go one way or the other. I mean, that's just how it goes.
Do you feel like maybe, couple of those types of calls, have kind of gone against you guys? Is that just kind of the breaks you guys are getting lately?
Yeah, it happens like that. But like I say, I'm a football player. You can't let that determine your play.
You've got a division opponent next week, how are you going to get yourself mentally ready after a loss?
I mean, it's the National Football League. Every game, we approach every game the same. Go and clean up our mistakes and look at what we did well, look at what we didn't do well, and try to go and get a win next Sunday. We've got no time to soak in our feelings. We've got a game every Sunday. It is what it is.
