Did your eyes just light up when you saw that ball? What did you see there?
I just saw him overthrow it, and I had to make sure I collected it, and caught it, and then try to get as much as I can.
What was the moment like with the defense where that was the first interception of the year for you guys?
I mean, it was good. I'm glad it happened. Wish we had had some more in this game. But I mean, it's good to get that in.
Did you think you were going to house it?
I'm always going to try to see if I can house it, for sure, but they got me out of bounds.
That final drive where they scored a touchdown pass, it looked like L'Jarius Sneed was in good position. Do you just chalk that one up to Michael Pittman making a play?
That's what happens in football. Sometimes they win, sometimes you win. I mean, you can be in good position, and be just an inch off, and they catch it. I mean, he was in position, he just made a play.
How frustrating was it, to not be able to get to stop and get off the field?
It was very frustrating. I mean, we felt like we were getting stops, and you a see a yellow flag come in. So definitely frustrating. We feel like we played good ball. We coach good techniques and the calls are just not falling our way.
You've been a leader in the locker room for a while, how important is it to kind of keep this team, focused early on still, in the season?
We don't have any other breaks coming up to reflect or whatever. So guys, have got to come back to work tomorrow, and fix whatever needs to be fixed, and just focus on the little things.
