Roughly 80 Former Houston Oilers Headed to Nashville – and to Titans vs Colts – for Oilers Reunion Weekend

NASHVILLE – It's Houston Oilers Tribute Week, which means a lot of things.

For starters, Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk will lead the franchise in posthumously adding former Oilers head coach O.A. "Bum" Phillips to the Titans/Oilers Ring of Honor in a ceremony at halftime of Sunday's game against the Colts at Nissan Stadium.

But the team is celebrating its Oilers heritage throughout the week.

And, as part of the celebration, the team will hold its 2021 Houston Oilers Reunion Weekend in town.

The list of former Oilers scheduled to be in town for the weekend, and the game, is a long one.

A group of players is scheduled to arrive in Nashville on Thursday, and several of them are scheduled to attend Titans practice at Saint Thomas Sports Park on Friday.

Festivities are planned throughout the weekend.

The former Oilers will gather for a gameday brunch on Sunday before heading to Nissan Stadium for Sunday's Titans vs Colts game, and the induction of Bum Phillips into the Titans/Oilers Ring of Honor at halftime.

All attending players who played under Bum Phillips, and the team's Hall of Famers, will serve as the Honorary 12th Titans.
