How would you describe the way this loss feels compared to last week.
It's tough because losing, no matter how you lose, whether it was last week or this week, they all feel the same. It's like we came up short and it sucks right now. But we just got to look positive and be like, all right, bounce back next week because it's a long season. We still got a lot of games left.
I walked into the locker room and seemed like half the players were still in their chairs, almost like you guys were stunned. Is that the feeling you guys have?
Yeah, you know. I felt like we could have won this game, same way last week. We probably felt like we could have won that game as well. But, this is how the NFL works. If you're not dialed in and locked in the whole game, that's the difference between 0-2 and 2-0. So, it's unfortunate but we just can't get that feeling in our heads where we're like 'dang.' We've just got to bounce back.
What do you think went into the third down struggles on offense today.
I haven't really watched the film yet to see. I know they brought a lot of pressures. I know they're getting a lot of penetration, but it's tough. We've got to protect the quarterback. He's a great player, so when we give him chances, you saw what he did in the two-minute drill. So, we just got to make sure he's protected.
