You look comfortable and relaxed back there operating the offense. It seems to fit you maybe better, than some of the things in the past.
I think its awesome. Also, I think that I just continue to try to learn from any miscues I've made in the past, and just try to understand the essence of where I went wrong and just continue to try to build on it. And I think it helps that you've got coaches, like I said, that give you the intent of what they want out of the play. I just have to continue to work on not getting so stuck in the progression that I don't realize, 'Okay, it's breaking down around me, I need to get the ball out a little bit faster and find my quick answers.'
One of the challenges in the preseason, can be coming on for a series or two, and off for a series or two, on and off. And the guys around you are changing from series to series, quarter to quarter. What do you do as a quarterback to help yourself carry momentum over from long breaks in between you playing and not playing?
You do the best you can? I mean, more than anything, it's your job. So, you're called to be ready whenever, and that goes on in the season. As a backup at this point in time, you just have to be ready whenever your number is called, so this is nothing new. You've just got to focus on when you get in there, executing, more than who's in there with you. Everybody's supposed to know where they're supposed to be. That's why we practice all the time. But, just understanding what you're being called to do with each play and going to execute to the best of your ability.
