Q. You've been here through the struggles. How much does this moment mean to you?
JOSH ALLEN: I mean, when you lose so long, man, it teaches you a little something about opportunities. I think we capitalize on every opportunity that we had, man. I'm blessed. I'm thankful to even be in the position that we are here today. I love my teammates. We are brothers, keepers no matter what situation arises. We just play until the clock hits 00:00, and we're going to find a way to be victorious.
Q. Even though you rallied from that big deficit, the 2-6 record, does it still feel surreal that you're here, you're division champs?
JOSH ALLEN: No. We kind of knew back -- to be real, I think back in training camp we kind of had this type of swag, this type of aura that we were going to make it far. We knew those five games, that five-game stretch that we had, we had to find a way to win. I think we weren't finding those ways to win at that moment. I think we were learning lessons. Like I said, man, when you lose, you find opportunities. You know, when we were put back in that situation again, we capitalized. So, we won it in overtime. We are 17 down, 10 down, you know, kept a lead. You have to find a way to win, and right now we're finding multiple ways to win. And at the end of the day, you have to get the job done.
Q. When you look at the tape tomorrow, you're going to see two plays that were really milliseconds making difference plays. So, does what happened tonight validate what Head Coach Doug Pederson has been preaching all year about staying in there, hanging in there, and just waiting for that big moment?
JOSH ALLEN: I think the biggest thing we can take away just from those two moments is the sense of urgency. We kind of knew how the game was going. They were running the ball and then they were throwing the ball quick. If he was going to draw back the pass, he was going to draw it out quick, so the sense of urgency has to be there. So, Arden [Key], to go out and make the play, he has been getting pressure all game. That one little second where he held it just a little bit longer, we made a play. Again -- oh, Lord. With Ray[shawn Jenkins] making the play, sense of urgency. Y'all got to watch that tape. He cut that corner so clean. I just seen it too, brother. It was clean. But, again, sense of urgency. It's the playing for one another. It's the knowing if he does his part, I'm going to do my part, and we're going to win this game. I swear, when we came into the halftime, like, we knew we was going to win. It was just something about it. We talked about we were going to win, but it was just the feel. We were down, but we weren't out of the fight. We've been in that situation before. We knew what we had to do to win this game. Stop the run, pressure the quarterback, create take-aways. We ended up doing that. We're winning the game. On to the next.
Q. When you're in a situation like this like tonight, like the Cowboys game, a few times this season we've seen the defense really come up big to make plays to win the game. What do you guys tell each other in the huddle to come out here and make that impact play and do what it is you need to do to come out and get that win?
JOSH ALLEN: Man, we really love each other. We really are one person out there. We flow together. We fly together. We hit together. We do everything together, man. And you can just feel the love that we got out there, the passion, the commitment that we have to each other. This standard was set back in training camp, so it didn't just happen. It was throughout the process, throughout the weeks, throughout the rough days we had, throughout the bad losses we had, throughout the good wins we had, throughout the bad wins that we had. It was just the love and the commitment that we can all win, and we trust each other. We do what we need to do, and we can stop anybody. We can beat anybody. Let's do it.
Q. How much did you guys feed off of the crowd tonight? It was a sold-out crowd in Jacksonville.
JOSH ALLEN: Man, huge crowd. It's something when it's a sold-out crowd, but it means something more when it's a sold-out crowd of your people. You know, they did it one time, so now we expect it to happen. We expect them to come out every week. We expect them to be loud. When we put our hands in the air and tell them, 'Let's go,' we expect them to be louder and go crazy. That's the expectation they have for us. That's the expectation we have for them, so let's get this going.
