*On how much fun that game was: *"It was great. It was great to win. Winning helps a lot so it was great to go out there and just have fun and be able to get out there and score touchdowns."
*On the run game opening things up for him: *"It opens up a lot. Obviously, being able to get guys to move the line of scrimmage and getting to the second level. Let our backs do what they do. We're getting to those times of the season where in December, January you've got to be able to control the line of scrimmage and run the ball."
* On low points and how LB Bobby Wagner's speech encouraged him: *"Losing sucks. Losing is never fun. I don't think any competitor will ever think that's fun but you have to go out there and– the talk that we had. Be able to sacrifice something for the betterment of the team and what are we willing to give up because we have something special in that locker room. We have to go out there each and every week and prove it."
* On a point this week where it started to get fun again: *"I can't really pinpoint a point like a point in the week. I just think everybody, the mindset they had, and how we prepared throughout the week of practice."
On what changes for him when RB Brian Robinson Jr. is playing the way he did today:
"I just think what he's been doing this season is remarkable. How he's able to run and get to the second level. Break tackles so, obviously, any running game is going to help out any quarterback."
*On what the offense was able to do today and if it brings any satisfaction to silence people questioning it: *"That's something y'all have to answer. I don't really pay attention to what people say about us. It really doesn't matter but that's something that–I'll leave that for people on social media."
On how his relationship with WR Terry McLaurin has changed throughout the season:
"It's gonna obviously continue to grow. It's the 13th game of the season so obviously it's still rapport but it's still our first year together. It's going to continue to grow, continue to learn more about each other, and keep growing."
On how helpful it was to have TE Zack Ertz, Wagner and McLaurin to rely on:
"It's very valuable to have those guys that have different experiences. Super Bowl champions, guys that have been through it that still perform at the highest level. Just having those guys in the locker room and being able to lean on them just for advice and go out there and keep playing."
On having a win going into the bye week:
"I mean I didn't want to go into a bye week with an L. That would've been four straight. Obviously winning always makes everything better."
On any particular video games he wants to play during the bye week:
"No, I just like playing the game with my friends. Kind of just get away and be around people that have been knowing me all my life."
On getting back to having fun and the team's performance today:
"I just think energy is contagious and good energy, that's what we want. When guys are having fun, you see when we make a play you see the defense and special teams getting up and congratulating us for scoring a touchdown. When [CB] Mikey [Mike Sainristil] had that fumble and recovery we were celebrating. Everybody's hype so that's contagious energy that we want each and every week."
On getting his legs involved and running:
"I just think it keeps the defense off balance. Keeps the defensive coordinator guessing and being able to just use my legs to help maybe free up a hat or two in our running game from [RB] B-Rob [Brian Robinson Jr.] or [RB] Chris [Rodriguez Jr.] and [RB] J-Mack [Jeremy McNichols]."
On how running the ball effectively moves the offense:
"We're getting to the point of the season where you have to be able to move the line of scrimmage, control the line of scrimmage. Week in and week out, day in and day out that's kind of our–we have to go out there and help each other make plays and sacrifice some things that might be selfish reasons but ultimately will help us win."
On what it means to have WR Terry McLaurin move around and line up in different ways:
"It's great. Just to be able to go out there and see Terry happy and enjoying the season and obviously we want to get the ball to one of our best players as many times as possible with the defense permitting that. It's great to move Terry around so maybe Terry might get the attention in the slot or right side while we have someone in a one-on-one on the left side. It's just selfless things. Go out there and have fun and free up guys to make plays too."
On the difference between this game and the last:
"Really just following completions, moving the ball, staying ahead of the change, things like that."
On pistol being a part of the game plan:
"We run the pistol a lot. It kind of– I guess you could say it keeps the defense off balance so we're running the ball where–whichever way we are running it and stuff like that."
On running the ball to get it into the endzone:
"That was huge. We had a shorter field. We had a shorter field a couple of times this game and we capitalized. Last week we didn't capitalize and it came back and bit us in the butt."
