What made a difference this week, getting the win today against the Falcons?
I thought we had a great bye week, then a great week of preparation for this game. And we went out there and executed at a high level.
How did the energy go, just the way you guys played defense from the start?
Oh, yes, for sure. I felt like every time someone made a play, the whole team was feeding off of it. That's how it's got to be. We know how good we are up front, and we just got to go out there and cut it loose.
I think for you, that's three sacks now in the last three games. Maybe, after a little bit of a slow start, do you feel kind of back to what everybody's used to seeing from Harold Landry, at this point.
I forgot who I told, but I felt like I've been feeling better and better. In the first three weeks, I was dealing with something else that kind of didn't allow me to practice as much as I wanted to. In these past two weeks, I've been able to practice full speed every day, and work on my rush plan and everything that I want to do in the game. So that's a big factor for me, being able to practice and work on my stuff. And yeah, the NFL, this is a long season, and I'm saying I don't ever get too high or too low. I just keep working, trying to improve, and that's what I'm gonna do following this game.
You guys don't want to have a "must-win" in Week *, but in your mind, did you feel like, if we don't win this one, this season is going to be tough?
Every win, to me. It's hard to win in this league. It is. But like I said, I felt confident coming into this game, because I felt like we had a good week of preparation for this game. Like I said, we just had to go out there and kind of cut loose and that was it.
