What do you feel is working well for you? Going out there, leading the team in tackles tonight? And the exclamation point at the end there?
Yeah, I don't know, it was just fun playing for Dennard's (Wilson) defense. For Frank (Bush) and the guys that we have in the room. So it was just like, cool to go out, and be part of a new group. So just kind of fed off that, I think.
How much were you able to kind of take what you guys were doing, meeting rooms, and practice field, and transmit it over to the game?
I think a good bit. I think, there's always stuff to clean up on your first game. I think there's a lot of stuff that we wish we would have brought along. But I think there's good pieces that we did tdo. So I think it's this case with any game, but especially for your first one.
The kind of downhill mentality they've been talking about with inside linebackers, was that sort of, how you play?
Yeah, I think its fun. I think when you get cut loose and you can go run and hit, I think backers love that. Yeah, I enjoy it.
Does that play your strength? Is that something you do particularly well?
I think it's fun. I think things that are fun, they generally are probably things that you feel like you're decent at. I just enjoying being a part of the defense.
When was the last time you felt like you were in a rhythm like tonight, where you were just around the ball, and making plays seemingly down-in and down-out?
I don't know. I think, you try to take it one snap at a time, and clear it so you're ready and prepared for the next snap. Every play, every down, every game.
