What sort of team win was this today?
It was massive, against a division opponent, the Tennessee Titans, who are a really good team in a tough environment. But yeah, we came together and pulled through. We had a lot of injuries. And it was fun to get this victory.
How much fun was it seeing what Case (Keenum) was able to do?
Oh, I love Case (Keenum). We have some epic ping pong battles. So, to see him on the football field, it was fun to watch.
When you're in that moment, how much do you want to be in that moment to have the chance to win the game?
Yeah, I think part of being in my position as a kicker, you've got to welcome those situations and those pressure kicks and not resist them, and just execute when you need to.
The confidence that you have to have to do something like that, what's that like?
Yeah. I mean, you build that confidence throughout, a lot of time throughout the season. And I got a lot of a lot of good teammates, especially, (Jon) Weeks and Cam (Cameron Johnston) who do such a good job. And they're so– it's such a thankless job. So, I really got to thank them for sure.
How much fun was your first game back?
Yeah, that was electric. Yeah. Was really fun environment. Let's do that again.
Did anybody tell you, you're a good luck charm, to have you back in your first game back?
Oh, yeah. I mean, I hit the game-winner, but there was a lot of lot of plays that were made by a lot of different guys. And this is a team win. So, I'm just thankful to be a part of it.
What do you think this does say about your team, being down so many guys, to be able to pull this out, and coming back from down 13-0 as well. What do you think that says about the group you guys have?
Gritty, I don't think it's a surprise really. DeMeco (Ryans), all our coaches always preach it, finish. And when the game's not over we can still play and fight for a win. So that's what we did.
