NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Former Titans linebacker Frank Chamberlin lost his battle with brain cancer on Sunday at the age of 35.
Chamberlin was diagnosed with a very serious form of brain cancer last January after collapsing at work with a seizure. He underwent brain surgery within two weeks that removed a portion of the tumor.
Former Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck, who was drafted the same year as Chamberlin tweeted: "RIP to my former teammate & even better friend Frank Chamberlin. If anyone fought hard he did for sure..."
A fifth-round draft pick by the Titans in 2000, Chamberlin played three seasons in Tennessee and later played in Cincinnati and Houston, totaling 57 career NFL games with three starts.
A native of Mahwah, N.J., he leaves behind his wife, Lisa, and three young daughters: Leah, Brooke and Micaela.
