I guess frustrating that there seemed like some similarities to last week's game and seemed to have decent chances to win but wound up the wrong end?
Yeah. The turnovers. Not getting turnovers. At the end of the day, this is a professional league. It's hard to win this games when you've got basically three turnovers. Two on offense, one on special teams. Defense we had none. It's going to be harder to win in this league. Got to find a way get the ball. It's frustrating, losing is frustrating. I mean, how many games it is we lost straight here? So it's frustrating. But at the same time we've been here before. At the end of the day, we clean up the small things, man, we could go so far. This team, we got everything in this locker room to win, to get where we want to get. Just got to clean up the turnovers and we got to take the ball away on defense.
What happened on the roughing call?
I mean, they called roughing. I mean, I feel like I was matching the hand. The hand came down with his facemask. They've got a job and they're going to call it. I'll look at it, I'm sure, I'm getting fined for it, so hopefully I can appeal it and plead my case. I got to see it again on tape. But they're going to call it. One, it's a Hall of Fame quarterback, they are going to protect the quarterback in this league. I just got to figure out what could I have done better at the end of the day. I was talking to the referee. I was trying to get his side of it, why he called it and understand why he called it. At the end of the day, just things like that, it hurts the defense, but they end up scoring, I think, on that drive. So, you just got to look at it and see what I could have done better. But, I'm just playing hard and trying to match the ball.
On that last drive, you and a couple of the defensive linemen didn't play a couple of snaps. Just what kind of happened there? Why were you guys on the sideline?
I think it's a two-minute drive. So, sure—that's a coach's question. They want to make sure we're fresh for the two-minute drive and put us back out there. I mean, at the end of the day, I can't—I'm not going to be crying about the subs on the sideline. I trust in our coaches to make sure we're fresh and ready to go. So, like I said, that's a coach's question.
