What were just your initial takeaways? You know, getting some game reps with this group?
Initial takeaway is that we're a connected team. Obviously, we had that first drive probably didn't go the way we wanted it on defense. And then, we pulled it together, stayed connected, made the adjustments, and finished strong.
What gives you optimism about some of the pieces you have on that front line?
Just the way they work, you know. The way everybody comes to work each and every day. I felt like a lot of guys on the front played really well today. Obviously, some things I could fix myself. I could've done a lot better, but I felt like overall, the front, all of the guys played really well today.
With Chance (Campbell) kind of stealing the show a little bit at the end there?
Yeah. Chance (Campbell) was balling, hoopin. Chance was hooping, man. Great game by him. I'm super excited for him.
KC (Keondre Coburn) too?
KC (Keondre Coburn) had a really good game as well.
Any feedback from Dennard (Wilson), whether on the sideline, or post-game, on the aggression, intensity that he's always preaching, and how you guys were able to do that on the field?
Yeah, like I said Coach Dennard's just a great leader. Great coach. He made the adjustments that we had to make in the half, and we finished strong. So, credit to him. He's always done a wonderful job. We're just scratching the surface. Definitely, a lot of things we can improve on.
