(on having Taylor Lewan back at practice today)
Yeah. We knew he was coming back; we were just being conservative with it during the week. But obviously it's good to get him out here, get him on the field.
(on if the unpredictable occurrences of Taylor Lewan's injury makes game-planning more difficult)
Well to be honest, you see that a lot in this league. That happens. I've been on a number of teams where that's been the case. I don't want to say it's normal. It's not normal, and we're doing everything we can to prevent that. But it's not the first time you've seen it. I feel like we've gotten that handled this week.
(on if it is good to have Chance Warmack back this week and how the team did without him in the lineup)
Well it will be good to get Chance (Warmack) back. He was playing well for us before he got injured, and this is a big week because the guy over him is a big guy and a good player. So it will be an interesting matchup. But we did OK. It's hard to say we've done anything good since we didn't win. So that's kind of the way we look at it.
(on Perrish Cox not practicing today)
He wasn't feeling great yesterday and then his hamstring was a little tight, so we were just being conservative.
(on if there is anyone he can rule out for Sunday)
You know (Deiontrez) Mount is out. I think that's the only one we can rule out for sure. I think if anybody it would be Sammie (Hill). But Sammie is making a lot of progress, so we will see.
(on the players who have stepped up in the place of the injured players)
Yeah, DaQuan (Jones), Al (Woods), even Angelo Blackson. I mean that group is a solid, good group. Sammie (Hill) was a good player for us and we certainly want him back, and he's working to get there. It could be a situation where he could physically play in the game but he might just not be ready from a playing standpoint.
(on making a roster move now that Deiontrez Mount is out for the season)
Yeah, we'll probably do it tomorrow. We're thinking about two guys. We just wanted to see today's practice and we'll go ahead and see. We're not bringing somebody in from the outside. We would elevate a practice squad guy.
