TITANS HEAD COACH MIKE MULARKEY PRESS CONFERENCE TRANSCRIPT - November 8, 2017**
(on the Bengals struggling run game)
I think their running game is getting better. I think that's going to be a point of emphasis for them, I just have that feeling just watching them. Today is my first full day of watching their offense and I think their run game is getting better. They've got backs, (Joe) Mixon is another guy that's dangerous if we left him have a crease, he can take it.
(on if he feels like the team's interior defensive play is getting better)
I do. I thought everybody up front played well. Jurrell (Casey), he doesn't get credit. He gets a lot of credit, you see the stats and what he does, but there's a lot of things he does that disrupts an entire blocking scheme where other guys, the (Wesley) Woodyards, are making plays off of it. I thought for a whole, against that team and what they liked to do, I thought that we all played well.
(on the team's injuries)
The only guys out for practice today were Delanie (Walker), (Quinton) Spain and (Eric) Decker, again with an illness. I expect to hopefully get Delanie back tomorrow and Decker, probably not Spain.
(on if it's too early to declare guard Quinton Spain's status for Sunday's game)
Yeah, I think it is.
(on if outside linebacker Derrick Morgan was a full participant in practice)
Yes.
(on if wide receiver Corey Davis' 'big plays' can energize the rest of the offense)
Yeah, he does it out here all the time, it's not just one here, one there. Obviously, he's only played in two complete games, but you see what he's capable of doing. We've seen some things ever better than that out in practice. I think our guys know what he's capable of. I think our quarterback's going to get some more time with him in these games coming up here and I think that's going to help our team and definitely help our passing game.
(on if the Bengals players' history of getting in altercations on the field is something that has been addressed this week)
We've talked about it already, yes. It's something we need to, especially after last week with all the altercations around the league. We've had a discussion about it.
