**
HEAD COACH JEFF FISHER**
(on trying to confuse Peyton Manning defensively)
You can't. There's nothing you can really pull over him at this point. Five or six years ago you'd have a chance, but now you don't. He knows what you're doing. He has a pretty good idea what you're doing before he takes the snap from center.
(on if you can confuse the Colts wide receivers)
No, they're all on the same page. This is a well-oiled machine as they say.
(on eliminating the Colts' time of possession)
Clearly, your approach to playing the Colts is to keep them off the field. How you do that is you have to run the football. You have to try to create negative plays for them to get them in third down, get the ball back. They've won games when they've had the ball for 20 minutes. That's just the way they are.
(on Kenny Britt stepping in for Justin Gage)
I think that's the case when a player goes down someone steps up, they get an opportunity. That's what Kenny's done. He's worked hard. He's certainly taken advantage of the opportunities and made a lot of big plays for us.
(on motivating the team)
This team, really since we came back from the bye has come back with a great deal of energy and just playing and having fun. I think deep down in the back of their minds they're reading things between the lines. There's no bigger challenge from the standpoint of motivating a football team then going and playing an undefeated football team in the division.
(on the Colts trailing in the fourth quarter five consecutive games)
The only way you beat them is if they trail at the end of the game. That's the only way.
(on if it is all attributed to Peyton Manning)
Yeah, that's it. That's what they do. Well, let me give you an example. They intercept a pass and run it back for a touchdown last week and that was a huge step for them against the Texans. Then he makes the plays he needs to make. I think you get a sense now for Coach Belichick's decision. You've got to keep the ball away from him. That's just what you have to do.
(on if Mr. Adams has done anything this season to affect his contract)
No. If you're referring to the comments that were made the other night, he needs to check his sources because we communicate in this organization. We do things collectively.
