HEAD COACH JEFF FISHER**
(on Gerald McRath's second start last week)
He did fine. He was in the right place. He was active. Special teams production was good despite the fact he was playing nearly every play on defense. He'll get the break when we go nickel because he isn't involved in the nickel. He did well in the base stuff.
(on Gerald McRath's instincts)
He runs, gets off blocks and understands. The game's not too big for him.
(on Lavelle Hawkins)
He's stepped in and done the right things at the right time at the right place. We had a little illegal motion thing the first third down, but other than that he was in the right place. He's in a position to make plays for us.
(on Justin Gage)
He did additional work inside today, he just didn't do the running.
(on if he's ever trash talked opposing players)
No, I've never done that. I personally feel I have a great deal of respect for them. I'll do a lot more of the other, just talking.
(on Larry Fitzgerald)

He goes up and he's as good as there is catching the ball out of frame and making the tight catch and the secure catch. It's hard when the ball's around, he does such a good job with his body, body position. He'll make the catch in traffic. Anquan (Boldin) does too. They're both very talented receivers, both very good after the catch.
(on if the Cardinals move Boldin and Fitzgerald around)
They're all over the place.
(on if he would like to see his defensive backs be more physical at the line of scrimmage)

You've got a five-yard illegal contact zone where you can contact the receiver and only once you can't initiate contact, lose contact and initiate it again. There's times when you do and there's times when you don't. If you're off coverage in man-to-man you can't make contact because you're outside the check zone. But in zones, in zone coverage, yeah. We're no different than anybody else, we're going to initiate contact whenever possible and disrupt the route.
