HEAD COACH JEFF FISHER**
(on 49ers WR Michael Crabtree)
He's got a significant number of catches just after two weeks. He's playing quite a bit and he's making plays. You wouldn't know based just on tape that he missed all of training camp and part of the regular season. I think a lot of that has to do with his participation in OTA's and just in staying familiar with the offense. He's getting better each week.
(on if Craig Stevens didn't play last week because of his concussion)
No.
(on if Craig Stevens didn't play because of roster numbers)
Yes.
(on when the decision will come on who will handle kick return duties)
We'll make them in the next couple of days. I'm really pleased with both of the returners right now. Alvin (Pearman) and Chris (Davis) are handling the ball well. Both had done it before. Really, it will be heavily dependent on how the roster shapes up with the game day deactivations.
(on the problem with kick coverage against Jacksonville)
We had some people get out of their lanes. They had an extra week to work on their returns. We adjusted after the first couple and then we settled down.
(on if the offense will build on what Vince Young can do)
He was very efficient for us in the ball game. He's really into this game plan, it's a different defense. You have to be into the game plan. He's had a good week thus far.
(on if Vince Young will have to do more on offense)
Every game is different, it's hard to tell. I would assume that if he's not sacked and doesn't throw an interception and we run for 307 yards, we've got a chance to win.
